We believe in a responsibility to our local economy and consistently source materials and services from local suppliers, reducing carbon emissions through transportation, guaranteeing traceability in the supply chain and supporting local businesses.
Red Leaf Group is an environmentally conscious contractor and we believe that the construction industry as a whole has a responsibility to encourage a culture of sustainability and awareness to actively lessen any potentially negative impact on our environment. We seek to work with suppliers who use accredited sustainably sourced products and materials and we are cultivating circular economy thinking; to this end, we endeavour to maximise the productivity of all materials by recovering, reusing and recycling wherever possible.
Health & Safety
Excellent health and safety standards are integral to all work that Red Leaf Group undertakes. We complete comprehensive risk assessments and method statements for all projects and provide rigorous working protocols and health and safety policies. To support our in-house health and safety officer, we employ independent health and safety advisors who conduct regular site and office-based audits, continually assessing and improving our practices. All our staff hold a valid CSCS card as standard. At Red Leaf Group we are aware that creating a truly health and safety conscious workplace takes more than this; establishing a culture of responsibility, where each individual is motivated to maintain a safe working environment for themselves and others is key and we are committed to achieving this. We also feel that the responsibility of our team’s wellbeing goes beyond the prevention of workplace accidents and that fostering a healthy work culture, with an emphasis on mental wellbeing is the duty of us as an employer.
