Project:
FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF NEW AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTION LINE – STEEL FABRICATION AND ERECTION, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION.

Triumph Motorcycles required a new, more efficient assembly line at their UK manufacturing site to cater for a change in production. Red Leaf Group worked together with the client on this brief to finalise their design, making recommendations to improve function, create cost savings and streamline programme. 3D drawings were also produced to aid the design process. The team at Red Leaf Group then fabricated the bespoke steel framework to house the assembly line, which was delivered to site ready for erection. Installation was undertaken by an experienced crew of steel erectors with all the necessary plant, including hi-abs and telehandlers, to achieve a smooth operation.

Red Leaf Group was also able to provide a comprehensive service with installation of M&E components with lighting, airlines, ducting, oil and coolant, NIKO rails and auxiliary services. Some of these works were undertaken during evening and weekend hours to limit disruption to site operations.

The successful, on schedule completion of this project provided the client with an efficient new assembly line with an adaptable, modular design that fulfilled all criteria of the brief and boosted productivity.
